We’re a busy boutique Chartered Professional Accounting firm in Kitsilano, and we’re looking for a reliable, friendly, and organized individual to join our team in a front-desk administrative role. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment with room to grow.
About the Role:
This is a multifaceted position combining front desk duties, client relations, and bookkeeping support. You’ll be the first point of contact for clients, manage document flow, and assist with daily operations.
Key duties include:
• Answering phones and handling client inquiries
• Managing collections and follow-ups
• Using a secure client portal to retrieve and upload documents
• Creating and updating client profiles
• Organizing client documents and correspondence
• Maintaining and updating internal records
• Assisting with bookkeeping (no experience required – we’ll train!)
What We’re Looking For:
• 2–3 years of experience in office administration or a related role with experience working with discerning clients who have high expectations for service and professionalism.
• Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Friendly, professional, and polished appearance
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
• Quick to learn new software and systems
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom, and business tools
• Digital Marketing and CRM experience (Mailchimp, etc.)
• Bookkeeping and/or QuickBooks knowledge is an asset, but not required
• Post-secondary education preferred
• Positive attitude and a team player
